Attaining Imagination and the Life of Owen Barfield with Luigi Morelli 7-9 pm, Waldorf High School of MA Bay, 160 Lexington St. Belmont. Barfield made the content of anthroposophy so thoroughly his own that he could recreate it in his soul and indicate to his contemporaries the way to the attainment of Imagination. This offers each human being a new relationship to knowledge, to the Cosmic Christ, and for a new place in the world. His early literary imaginations point the way to the whole of his literary estate. Barfield shows us how Imagination has been reached in a single individual, Barfield himself, through his most autobiographical books, This Ever Diverse Pair, Unancestral Voice, and Worlds Apart.
Luigi Morelli has had a long experience of working with the disabled in intentional communities like Camphill and L’Arche International or in the mainstream. He has written several books including Spiritual Turning Points of North American History, and a twin volume concerning South America. Most recently he published the two books Karl Julius Schröer and Rudolf Steiner: Anthroposophy and the Teachings of Karma plus Reincarnation and Aristotelians and Platonists: A Convergence of the Michaelic Streams in Our Time.
